Can you remember your most difficult days?
Was there some lesson to be learned?
Even if the only thing you can remember about it, is that you survived. So now in hindsight, you may be able to view your problems as only a process.
We all will go through things we don’t want to go through. I propose to you that you start to see your problems as a process that will get you to where you want or need to be. Don’t just go through tough times.
Instead, GROW through what you’re going through.
What if each difficult circumstance caused you to become healthier, more talented, frugal, smarter, open minded, better skilled, or even transformed into a better version of yourself. You might be able to view that problem in a different light.
Use this perspective in the mist of going through something. Would you not agree this is when we need it the most? More so, when it seems we are far back of the tunnel and the light is no where near. I try asking myself… how can I make this situation bearable? I say it all the time as a means to remind myself, and to also get my point across to you. Changing your thoughts will change your reality.
Everything begins in the mind.
You can make a bad situation even worse, entertaining harmful thoughts. Use your faith and not your eyes to judge the outcome of a situation. If you haven’t experienced this before how can you or anyone else predict the outcome? Cling to what is good. (Romans 12:9)
Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you (Isaiah 41:10) That’s all you need to know. So just keep showing up.
As with my blog, I have had learning curves and days when the techy-things caused me to want to toss the computer out the window. Your reading this… so I didn’t. (meh, face). I know I wanted my blog to reach millions. I wanted to share my thoughts and words of encouragement so that I can help those who also my struggle bus through life like I do sometimes.
So now I try to view my hardships as preparation for receiving that which I have hoped for and that for which I could only dream of. Like an athlete preparing for a championship. I put in the work, I keep showing up and things just keep happening. Good or bad, progress is being made. Why? Because I am taking action. I’m getting better and stronger. Like aged fine wine… I get better with time. Ha!
Problems are an illusion.
I suggest to you the best is yet to come. So as best you can, change your perception of problems to thoughts of change, opportunity, process and growth.
After writing this post I went to The Secret: Daily Teachings and found this just fitting.
“We are not able to see the bigger picture of our lives, but the Universe or the Creative Power can see it all. Sometimes we think that something is right for us, but when it doesn’t unfold the way we thought, have faith in the Universe that it is matching all of our inner desires and marrying them into every aspect of our lives”- The Secret.
Be Encouraged, Denia
